Sneak Peak at CPN Niagara Falls 2010
Vol. 13, Issue 1 (Spring 2009)

For a preview of CPN’s Niagara Falls Conference in 2010, the editor recently interviewed one of the conference organizers, Valerie Domenici.

Editor: Although it’s more than a year away, many of our members have been asking about CPN’s 14th biennial conference in Niagara Falls next summer. Can you give us a preview?

Valerie: Sure. Let me begin mentioning the venue. The CPN conference is being held at The Conference Center Niagara Falls from July 22-24, 2010, with pre-conference workshops on July 21st. We’ve arranged a conference hotel, the Crowne Plaza, located right next door to the conference center.

Editor: Any ideas on local excursions or places to see while we’re at the conference?

Valerie: Since Niagara Falls is one of the premier vacation spots in the country, there are many choices for local excursions. The conference center is an easy 10 minute walk to Niagara Falls, where guests can ride the Maid of the Mist and visit the Cave of the Winds, the Journey Behind the Falls, or the aquarium. Guests can also cross the pedestrian bridge into Canada to enjoy breathtaking views, entertainment, and food and shopping. Wine connoisseurs may want to take a short drive to Canada to visit wineries or see the quaint Niagara-on-the-Lake. Other nearby activities include casinos, helicopter rides, hiking trails, nature walks, souvenir shops, and much more!

Editor: How many people are expected to attend the CPN conference in Niagara Falls?

Valerie: Previous CPN conferences have hosted between 75 and 100 people, though we hope this year will be even bigger and better than ever!

Editor: With regard to the conference banquet, it has been a longstanding tradition for Jay Efran to entertain the crowd with a performance of magic tricks and illusions. Any chance that Jay will be invited to perform at the Niagara Falls banquet?

Valerie: OF COURSE! We’d like to officially (and publicly) extend an invitation to Jay to perform his magic at the 2010 banquet. What do you say, Jay?

Editor: Where can we find additional information about the conference?

Valerie: Visit the current conference website at:

Stay tuned for more details!
